Mamma Mía! The Musical is the Spanish avatar of the musical written by British playwright Catherine Johnson, which was based on the songs of the Swedish group ABBA. Composition was done by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, who were members of the band. It debuted in 1999. The musical has been presented all over the world and was also adapted into a 2008 film with an ensemble cast.

So she invites 3 of her mother’s former lovers to the wedding in the hopes of finally identifying her father.

Teatro Rialto is located at number 54 of the Gran Vía in Madrid It was built by architects José de Aragón and José María Mendoza Ussía and founded by Antonio Ramos Espejo in 1930 as the Rialto Cinema, which specialised in American musical comedies. But between 1932 and 1934 it was called Cine Astoria. Just after it was turned into a theatrical venue, the Spanish musical Hoy No Me Puedo Levantar was presented here and it was a major hit, going on to become one of the most successful Spanish musicals ever. The theatre is now run by SOM Produce.
